Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where required by local law or the Apple App Store) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

RepicLa uses Sign in with Apple as its only sign-in method. Your username should be your own Instagram username; you may not use someone else’s name, impersonate another person, or claim photos that are not of you. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your Apple account secure.

Ownership. Copyright in the photos and retouched versions you upload stays with you or the original rights holder. RepicLa does not take ownership of your content.

The license you give us. You allow us to store, copy, process, and transmit your content only as far as running the Service requires — generating thumbnails, delivering photos to the people in the session, sending notifications. We do not use your photos for promotion or for anything else.

Consent to be photographed. Photographers should only start a session for someone who has agreed to be photographed. By letting a photographer scan their pass, a coser agrees to be photographed by that photographer in that session and to receive the photos through the Service.

What happens to the photos afterwards. RepicLa only delivers photos. How they are later used, published, or edited is for the photographer and the coser to agree between themselves; we are not a party to that agreement.

Your public page. Your page at repicla.com is public. You may only put on it content you have the right to show: your own uploads, and photos you received as a coser. Photographers: by delivering photos through the Service you allow the cosers in them to show those photos on their RepicLa page. You can end that at any time by deleting the photo or removing the coser from the session, which takes the copy on their page down. Links and music on your page must not lead to content these Terms prohibit.

Retention. Full-resolution photos are kept for 30 days from upload and then deleted automatically. Save them yourself in time; we are not responsible for photos deleted after that period.

RepicLa has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not upload, send, or use the Service for:

• photos taken without the subject’s consent, including covert or voyeuristic photography;
• pornographic or sexually explicit content, or any content that exploits minors;
• content that harasses, threatens, or promotes hatred or discrimination against anyone;
• impersonating another person, or claiming photos that are not of you;
• content that infringes someone else’s copyright, likeness, or privacy;
• illegal content, spam, or malware;
• interfering with, attacking, or attempting unauthorized access to the Service.

Violating content is removed, and violating accounts may be suspended immediately and without notice.

Photographers can delete their own photos, or remove a coser from a session, at any time. Before accepting a claim request, a photographer should confirm by Instagram direct message that the person is who they say they are.

If you find you were photographed without consent, that someone has claimed photos of you, or any other content or user that violates these Terms, report it to [email protected]. We act on reports promptly, generally removing violating content and dealing with the account within 24 hours.

We scan uploaded images with an automated moderation system, alongside human review of flagged and reported content. We may, at our discretion, remove any content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service relies on third parties, including Apple for sign-in and push notifications. Instagram usernames and QR codes are used only to identify people, and the Sony camera connection uses that camera’s own published connection methods. RepicLa is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Instagram (Meta), or Sony.

Events listed in the app are there only to help you organize photos. RepicLa currently has no relationship with any event organizer; event names belong to their respective owners.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app under Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent, as described in Section 6 of the Privacy Policy. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any photo will be delivered or preserved. RepicLa is not a backup service; keep your own original files.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including the loss of photos or data. The Service is provided free of charge; our total liability in connection with it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
